About Jacksonville

The “Jax Six” are all good friends from Jacksonville, Florida who work for the same police agency.  For years, we have ridden together on our days off.   We all love our professions in law enforcement and love riding motorcycles.  Before now, some of us belonged to other LEMCs and some never did.  However, we would still all get together often and ride as a group.  We finally decided to officially join together as our own LEMC chapter.  But after searching a long time for the right one, we became discouraged because we could not all agree on a specific club to join due to the way they operated and/or acted.  We came close to just starting our own club.   However, in mid-2011 we ran across the Watchmen MC who was doing things the right way from the beginning. All six of us liked this club and made the decision to move forward.  Made up of experienced riders, the Watchmen kept what worked and threw out what didn’t.  They weren't trying to recruit anyone and weren't interested in numbers.  Their goal was not to be the biggest club; only to be the best.   We feel the same way.  LEMCs shouldn't be about recruiting as many people as possible.  It should be about having a refuge for us guys that do this job day in and day out.  Having a place where you are surrounded by those that know exactly what you deal with.  It’s showing the rest of the world what this true brotherhood is about.  It’s also about having a good time and hitting the open road!  Police Officers have always had a sense of brotherhood, but in these times of low agency moral it has definitely taken a beating.   Now it is about bringing back the enjoyment and pride of being a law enforcement officer again.  This club, made of only respected law enforcement brothers, is our way to do that.  This has been the Watchmen's philosophy since day one.  Male officers are welcomed to inquire and see if they have what it takes to earn their place alongside the other Watchmen.   Let it be known that this club does not act like 1%ers either in their personal lives or club actions and will not associate with any MCs or OMGs who do.  If that’s the lifestyle you want to imitate, this is definitely NOT the club for you!   Also, if you are looking for a LEMC that automatically hands you cuts on your first day just because you are an officer; this is NOT the club for you!  Anything worth having is earned.  There are plenty of other clubs that would be happy to add your name to their rosters if you just want to join a club.  The Watchmen encourage you to check out all of the clubs in your area.  One of those may be exactly what you are looking for.  However, if you are reading this website and are sensing that you too have been looking for what the Watchmen MC represent, feel free to take a ride with us and find out.
